Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data sources, collect raw data, and integrate it into our data infrastructure
• Data Cleaning and Transformation: Perform data cleaning and transformation tasks to ensure data quality and consistency
• Database Management: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of databases to support data storage and retrieval needs
• Data Modeling: Work with senior data engineers to design and implement data models that align with business requirements
• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into data warehouses or other storage systems
• Data Visualization: Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to visualize data and create insightful reports and dashboards
• Documentation: Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices for future reference
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal stakeholders as needed

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Java
• Familiarity with data manipulation and transformation tools (e.g., Pandas, Apache Spark)
• Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL databases, NoSQL databases, data warehouses)
• Understanding of ETL processes and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Prior internship or project experience in data engineering or related fields is a plus
