Job Title: Trainer – Employability Skills

Location: Madurai, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, and Theni (Tamil Nadu)

Employment Type: Project-Based / Full-Time / Part-Time (based on training schedules)

Project Overview:

As part of government-supported initiatives like Naan Mudhalvan, AICTE, and Skill India, Rareminds is delivering Employability Enhancement Programs aimed at improving communication, interview preparedness, work ethics, digital literacy, and career readiness of students and fresh graduates.

Role Summary:

We are looking for dynamic and passionate trainers who can deliver Employability Skills Training to undergraduate/postgraduate students, polytechnic, and engineering students across Madurai, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, and Theni districts. The goal is to equip learners with the practical skills and confidence to transition successfully into the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct interactive and experiential sessions on:

- Communication skills (verbal, written, non-verbal)

- Resume building and interview preparation

- Group discussions and personal interviews (GD & PI)

- Time management, goal setting, teamwork

- Work ethics, workplace behavior, and corporate grooming

- Problem-solving, adaptability, and decision-making

- Digital skills for the workplace (Email etiquette, MS Office basics)

- Use structured curriculum and adapt content to suit diverse learner levels

- Facilitate pre- and post-assessments to evaluate learner improvement

- Maintain training documentation, attendance, and reports

- Collaborate with college SPOCs and Rareminds coordination team

- Deliver both offline and online (virtual) sessions as needed

- Participate in Train-the-Trainer programs and ongoing content calibration

- Assist in placement drives, mock interviews, and career counselling sessions

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Education, Psychology, Humanities, or Management)

- Certification in Soft Skills/Employability/Corporate Training is an advantage

Experience Required:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting Employability or Soft Skills training

- Prior experience in working with college students or early career professionals is highly desirable

- Familiarity with skill development ecosystems (e.g., Naan Mudhalvan, NSDC, PMKVY) is a plus

Key Skills:

- Excellent command over English (spoken and written); fluency in Tamil is essential

- Strong public speaking, facilitation, and classroom engagement skills

- Ability to adapt content to audience profile and regional context

- Tech-savvy – familiarity with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet), MS Office, and digital content delivery

- Empathetic approach and mentoring mindset
