We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in ODI, ELT/ETL processes, data modeling, and advanced SQL. Familiarity with Python scripting for API-based data ingestion is a key advantage.

This is a night shift role (India time), requiring strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and stored procedures using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Develop and document data warehouse schemas including fact and dimension tables based on business requirements.
• Write and execute SQL scripts for table creation; collaborate with DBAs for schema deployment.
• Analyze various data sources to identify relationships and align them with Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
• Design and implement Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to move data from source systems into staging and target environments.
• Perform data validation and profiling using SQL and analytical tools to ensure data quality and completeness.
• Apply data governance best practices, including query optimization, metadata management, and data quality monitoring.
• Demonstrate strong data modeling skills to build scalable and efficient data architectures.
• Use Python to automate API-based data ingestion, improving integration workflows and enabling near real-time data processing.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues through in-depth analysis and root cause identification.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders through strong written and verbal skills.
• Show initiative and research capabilities to solve complex data problems quickly and efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of overall experience in ETL/Data Warehousing roles.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT design.
• Experience with data warehouse architecture and schema design.
• Practical knowledge of Python scripting for API integration and automation.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and performance tuning.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive insights.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
