Required Qualifications

• B.E. (Fire) from National Fire Services College (NFSC), Nagpur
  OR
• Four-year Graduation Degree (B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent) in Fire Technology / Fire Engineering / Safety and Fire Engineering from a college/university approved by AICTE/UGC
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by AICTE/UGC
  AND
  Divisional Officers Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by AICTE/UGC
  AND
  Graduate from Institute of Fire Engineers (India) / Institute of Fire Engineering – UK
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by AICTE/UGC
  AND
  Station Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur with minimum 60% marks in aggregate
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by AICTE/UGC
  AND
  Sub-Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur with minimum 60% marks in aggregate

Skills, Knowledge & Training

• Well-versed with fire safety norms and state/central government rules & regulations in fire safety and security.
• Core Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of Fire Prevention and Protection Systems such as:
• Hydrant System
• Fire Detection System
• Sprinkler System
• Understanding of evacuation procedures and Fire Audits.

Job Purpose

• Serve as Fire & Safety Officer for CCIL premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve fire safety arrangements at CCIL premises.
• Carry out site visits to review fire safety and suggest improvements.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upgradation of fire safety systems.
• Organize periodic fire and evacuation drills, lectures, and training sessions.
• Disseminate information on the Disaster Management Plan as per BCP guidelines.
• Strive for zero fire-related incidents due to safety lapses.
• Liaise effectively with Government Agencies, including:
• Fire Services
• Municipal Corporations
• Civil Authorities
• Perform other administrative duties related to the Fire Officer Desk as assigned.
