Job Description - Founding AE

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 4000000 (ie INR 15-40 LPA)

Min Experience: 4 years

JobType: full-time

What You’ll Be Working On

(1) Own the Outbound Sales Motion

  • Step in as the first Account Executive on the team, taking full ownership of the end-to-end sales process.
  • Shape, design, and refine the sales playbook from scratch.
  • Partner with SDRs to prospect, qualify, and convert leads into high-value opportunities.
  • Build and execute a winning sales strategy to consistently achieve (and exceed) revenue targets.
  • Develop strong, lasting client relationships that foster trust and long-term partnerships.

(2) Influence Product and Strategic Decisions

  • Operate with a “founder mindset” — your insights and ideas will have a direct impact on the company’s trajectory.
  • Capture customer and market feedback to inform the product roadmap.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives by sharing frontline insights for collateral, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Act as the customer’s voice internally, helping to align product and go-to-market strategies.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Minimum 4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience (preferably with an early-stage startup).
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong first-principles problem solver with a strategic mindset.
  • High ownership, accountability, and dependability.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and thriving in ambiguity.
