Job Title: Hadoop Admin 

Experience: 5+ Years 

Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Location: Kolkata / Possible of Remote (Shift requested from 3 PM till 11 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and monitor Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, and other related technologies.
• Oversee the integration of data from Oracle Flexcube and other source systems into the Cloudera Data Platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and processes.
• Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to Hadoop administration processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration, preferably in the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Flexcube, Cloudera Data Platform, Hadoop, Hive, and Impala.
• Proven experience in managing and optimizing Hadoop clusters.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in Hadoop administration or related fields is a plus.
