We are looking for a skilled Cloud Migration & Support Engineer to manage, migrate, and optimize InfoLease implementations in cloud-hosted environments. In this role, you will handle configuration, enhancements, integrations, and data migration while ensuring stable, auditable, and high-performance lease-accounting systems. You will work closely with product owners, QA, DBAs, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless upgrades, robust reporting, and production support. The position involves troubleshooting, automating processes, and mentoring junior engineers, offering an environment that blends technical challenge with collaborative problem-solving. Your contributions will directly impact system reliability, data integrity, and operational efficiency across global deployments.
Accountabilities:
- Support production InfoLease v9/v10 environments, including incident triage, root cause analysis, fixes, and SLA-driven ticket resolution.
- Execute cloud migration and upgrade activities, including data extracts/transforms, UCI layout transfers, and validation of contract and financial data integrity.
- Implement and maintain integrations between InfoLease and external systems such as GLs, tax engines, payment systems, and dealer portals.
- Develop scripts and programs for data transformation, batch automation, and scheduled jobs using UniBasic, Python, Java, or Groovy.
- Build and customize reports and exports using tools such as Pentaho and SQL to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in release activities, including code deployments, database changes, post-deploy verification, rollbacks, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with DevOps to containerize web components, migrate databases, and validate cloud performance.
- Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, test cases, and checklists for conversions and ongoing support.
- Provide on-call production support, coordinating fixes across onshore and offshore teams.
- Gather requirements from client SMEs, drive tickets to resolution, and mentor junior engineers in migration and support tasks.
- Hands-on experience with InfoLease v9/v10 or similar IDS lease systems; familiarity with InfoLease10 web modules preferred.
- Experience with UniBasic, UniData, or Pick systems, and supporting legacy lease/back-office systems.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating financial data in Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.
- Programming experience in Java, Groovy, Grails, Spring, or UniBasic.
- Production support experience, including incident management, ServiceNow/JIRA, RCA, and SLA adherence.
- Familiarity with batch job schedulers and automation tools such as Autosys, Control-M, Jenkins, and Linux/Unix fundamentals.
- Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable coordinating with US-based stakeholders.
- Desired: experience with InfoLease upgrades/migrations, cloud platforms (Azure, OpenShift), containerization, cloud certifications, report customization, automated test scripts, tax or GL integration, and 24x7 support in distributed teams.
- Senior-level candidates (8+ years) should have experience leading migration tracks, designing cutover strategies, scoping conversions, and providing architecture/automation guidance.
