The Role

You will be working within Group Digital Platform Services Operations man services the broader Firm through delivery of core technology and managed services capabilities, collaboration and innovation development services and building our Alliances network.
Roles and responsibilities.
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
Manage system performance, availability, and capacity planning
Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks
Automate operational tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
Implement system security best practices (patching, hardening, vulnerability management)
Manage user access, permissions, and authentication systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory integration)
Support deployment and maintenance of applications and services on Linux platforms
Configure and maintain networking services (DNS, DHCP, SSH, VPNs)
Work with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines as needed
Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs
Required Skills and experience:
Proven experience as a Linux Engineer / System Administrator
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
Experience with shell scripting (Bash) and/or Python
Knowledge of system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
Experience with virtualization and/or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Qualifications
Linux certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Linux+)
Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Knowledge of security practices and compliance standards
