Job Description - IT Recruiter | State Client Experience










This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Recruiter | State Client Experience based in India.


This role is centered on delivering high-quality, high-volume IT recruitment support for US-based State Government clients in a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end hiring cycles across diverse technology roles, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining strict adherence to state-specific hiring guidelines. The position requires strong coordination with account managers and delivery teams to align on hiring priorities, SLAs, and role expectations. You will engage in proactive sourcing, candidate assessment, and pipeline management across multiple requisitions simultaneously. The environment is highly dynamic, requiring precision, speed, and strong stakeholder communication. This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in structured, process-oriented hiring environments with exposure to government client ecosystems.










Accountabilities:



  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT roles supporting US State Government clients, ensuring timely and compliant hiring delivery

  • Partner closely with account managers and delivery teams to understand hiring needs, priorities, and SLA expectations

  • Source, screen, and submit qualified candidates across multiple IT domains including development, infrastructure, cloud, data, and cybersecurity

  • Handle high-volume requisitions while maintaining quality standards and compliance with state-specific hiring regulations

  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, and end-to-end offer management processes

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ATS systems and ensure proper documentation of all recruitment activities

  • Ensure adherence to government client guidelines, including compliance documentation and hiring procedures

  • Provide regular updates and status reports to internal and external stakeholders


Requirements



  • 3+ years of experience as a US IT Technical Recruiter

  • Mandatory experience working with US State Government clients

  • Strong understanding of IT skill sets including application development, infrastructure, cloud, data, and cybersecurity roles

  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment environments with strict turnaround expectations

  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques using platforms such as LinkedIn, Dice, and other job boards

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, coordination, and closure

  • Familiarity with ATS tools and recruitment tracking systems

  • Understanding of US hiring models such as W2, C2C, and 1099 (preferred)

  • Knowledge of state-level hiring processes, rate cards, and compliance documentation (preferred)

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage multiple competing priorities
