Job Description - Manager- Corporate Giving & Payroll Partnerships Manager[Mumbai/Bangalore/Delhi

Role: Manager - Corporate Giving & Payroll Partnerships Manager
Location: Mumbai [on site] & Bangalore/Delhi - Remote [but base in metro]
Experience: 5-8 years 
Salary: 10-15 LPA

Insights: CSR fundraising or sales or experience in retail fundraising is a must

What you'll do:

  • Get Companies to Partner: Find and bring on board companies for their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds and employee Payroll Giving programs.
  • Create Custom Plans: Develop and present unique CSR project ideas and employee giving options that match what each company wants to achieve.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Connect with CSR heads, company foundations, HR teams, and sustainability leaders to create lasting partnerships.
  • Follow the Rules: Make sure all corporate giving programs follow CSR laws 
  • Stay Updated: Keep an eye on what's new in the market, what's important for ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), and new ways companies can partner with us.
  • Grow Payroll Giving: Encourage new companies to add Payroll Giving to their employee benefits.
  • Explain the Benefits: Clearly explain to HR, CSR leaders, and decision-makers why orgs Payroll Giving program is a good choice for them.
  • Reach Out: Plan and run campaigns to connect with big companies, multinational corporations, and fast-growing startups to get them to adopt Payroll Giving.
  • Manage Potential Partners: Keep track of companies we're talking to, how the conversations are going, and how many become partners.
  • Design Giving Options: Create different ways for companies to give (like matching employee donations or different levels of giving) to attract a variety of partners.
  • Work with Internal Teams: Collaborate with our finance and tech teams to make sure the process of deducting donations from employee paychecks is smooth.
  • Create Long-Term Plans: Develop partnerships that last for several years and fit with the company's long-term goals for being socially responsible.
  • Find New Ways to Raise Funds: Come up with creative ways for companies to donate, like matching grants or adding donations to crowdfunding, and make sure it aligns with their ESG goals.
  • Show the Impact: Use data and stories to show companies how their donations are making a difference.
  • Work with Marketing: Help create campaigns to keep companies engaged with the impact of their giving.
  • Stay Innovative: Research the best ways companies are giving and bring new ideas to our workplace giving programs.
  • Report on Impact: Make sure we clearly show how the funds are being used through reports and dashboards.
  • Keep Partners Informed: Provide companies with updates on the real impact their donations are having.
  • Follow Regulations: Ensure we follow all CSR and financial rules and maintain ethical practices in all our corporate giving programs.

What you need to have:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Social Work, Development Studies, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field.
    • 5-8 years of experience working with companies on partnerships, payroll giving, CSR fundraising, business development, or donor relations.
    • Experience in corporate giving, fundraising, selling to businesses, or workplace giving is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Good understanding of CSR laws, ESG principles, and how companies approach sustainability.
    • Proven ability to create and grow corporate fundraising and payroll giving programs.
    • Comfortable using data to understand donation trends and measure impact.
    • Knowledge of how to best engage employees and manage relationships with corporate donors.
  • Qualities:
    • Excellent at networking, negotiating, and building relationships with senior people in companies.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills to talk to both executives and employees.
    • Think strategically and can connect corporate giving with business goals.
    • Passionate about making a social impact, corporate giving, and creating sustainable change.
