This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer / Consultant - Contract Role in India.
This role is focused on delivering high-quality enterprise analytics and reporting solutions using Oracle Analytics Server in a fast-paced, remote contract environment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, semantic models, and BI reports that enable data-driven decision-making across business functions. The position requires strong expertise in data warehousing, SQL optimization, and BI architecture to ensure scalable and high-performing analytics solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights and reporting structures. The role also involves troubleshooting performance issues and ensuring data accuracy across reporting layers. This is a hands-on consulting position with immediate impact on enterprise reporting capabilities.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and/or OBIEE dashboards, reports, KPIs, and BI Publisher solutions.
- Build and support semantic models (RPD), subject areas, and metadata structures aligned with business requirements.
- Gather and translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, ensuring performance tuning and efficient data retrieval.
- Work with data warehouse environments using dimensional modeling approaches such as star and snowflake schemas.
- Support data validation, testing, production deployment, and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, data consistency, and performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to ensure data quality, integration, and consistency.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and/or Oracle BI EE (OBIEE).
- Strong expertise in designing dashboards, analyses, KPIs, agents, and BI Publisher reports.
- Solid understanding of semantic modeling (RPD), subject areas, security configuration, and metadata structures.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, query optimization, aggregations, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with Oracle Database and PL/SQL in data warehouse environments.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and dimensional data modeling concepts.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Preferred: experience with cloud analytics platforms, modern BI tools, data governance, and AI-enabled analytics solutions.
