This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and quality of specialized financial content products, focusing on M&A transactions. You will manage end-to-end content operations, including sourcing, methodology, integration, and data validation, while collaborating closely with engineering and cross-functional teams. The position requires balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring that content is accurate, timely, and delivered efficiently. You will be responsible for driving initiatives that improve processes, optimize automation, and enhance the overall user experience. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial data, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will also engage in competitive research, internal training, and support content launches to market.
Accountabilities:
- Own the functional delivery of M&A transactions content, overseeing business requirements, sourcing, methodology, policies, and data integrity processes.
- Collaborate with engineering to conduct POCs, optimize costs, implement automation, and streamline content operations.
- Manage and review team performance, providing guidance, conducting meetings, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Contribute to successful product launches, including announcements, marketing materials, user documentation, and training sessions.
- Serve as the escalation point for data quality and methodology issues.
- Monitor industry trends and provide competitive insights to inform product vision and content strategy.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in content strategy or operations for financial data, including at least 5 years in product management.
- Experience with M&A transactions data curation strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of investment research, company valuation techniques, and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience delivering content products using iterative/agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database query languages (e.g., SQL).
- Advanced academic qualifications (Masters in Commerce, Chartered Accountant, or CFA highly desirable).
