As a Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead the design and execution of robust testing strategies across SaaS platforms, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of reliability, compliance, and performance. You will oversee functional, regression, performance, and AI/ML testing, while optimizing automated test frameworks and CI/CD integrations to enable efficient release cycles. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations teams, you will embed quality throughout the development lifecycle, influence strategic decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines technical leadership with cross-functional project management, providing mentorship to QA engineers and shaping best practices. Accountabilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of functional, regression, performance, and AI/ML testing strategies across multiple product lines.
- Develop and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks, optimizing CI/CD pipeline integrations for reliable releases.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to embed quality practices throughout the PDLC and SDLC.
- Ensure rigorous validation of AI/ML models, including bias detection, reproducibility, and performance benchmarking.
- Maintain compliance with internal quality systems and external regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, GDPR).
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, release readiness, and risk assessments to inform decision-making.
- Drive cross-functional QA initiatives, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and thought leadership.
- Contribute to policy and SOP development, audit readiness, and strategic quality planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, or technology solutions.
- 4–6 years of experience in customer-facing roles and leading complex projects.
- Strong experience with test automation tools, performance testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO, and GDPR.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify root causes and recommend scalable solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership, project management, and mentorship experience, with a track record of driving QA practices across teams.
- Knowledge of AI/ML model validation, bias detection, and performance benchmarking is highly desirable.
