This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP SuccessFactors Payroll based in India.
This is a senior payroll technology opportunity for an experienced professional with deep expertise in enterprise payroll systems and implementation.
You will play a key role in translating complex payroll and HR requirements into scalable, effective technology solutions.
Working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, HRIS teams, and external vendors, you will guide solutions from requirements through deployment.
The role combines functional expertise with technical understanding across payroll integrations, system configuration, data mapping, testing, and governance.
You will have significant ownership of vendor coordination, design reviews, risk management, and implementation quality.
Your expertise will directly support accurate, compliant payroll processes across the US and Canada.
The position can be performed remotely in India, with opportunities to collaborate across diverse business and technical teams.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end functional and technical requirements for ADP GlobalView Payroll implementations and transformation initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document payroll and HR system requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and HRIS teams to understand business processes, identify system needs, and translate them into effective solutions.
- Convert business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Review and validate technical design documents, integration specifications, data mappings, interfaces, configuration documentation, and related deliverables.
- Coordinate with external implementation vendors and partners to ensure proposed solutions meet business, payroll, technical, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Lead vendor design walkthroughs, reviewing scope, assumptions, configurations, integrations, dependencies, and delivery approaches.
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, requirements traceability, and implementation readiness activities.
- Ensure payroll solutions effectively support US and Canada payroll processes, compliance requirements, and governance standards.
- Provide functional and technical guidance throughout implementation, deployment, transition, and post-implementation activities.
- Identify solution gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process or system improvement, and coordinate with relevant teams to address them.
- Maintain accurate project and requirements documentation and ensure alignment between business expectations, technical delivery, and vendor commitments.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in payroll, HR systems, HRIS, enterprise payroll implementation, or a closely related field.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView Payroll.
- Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors and payroll-related integrations.
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of integration architecture, data mappings, interfaces, system configurations, and enterprise payroll environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating external vendors and implementation partners.
- Strong knowledge of US and Canada payroll processes, including relevant compliance and governance considerations.
- Experience contributing to or leading end-to-end payroll implementation and transformation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to complex issues.
- Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technical, payroll, and vendor teams.
- Understanding of payroll testing, implementation, governance, and compliance processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver effectively in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
