Job Description - Senior Account Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 3500000 (ie INR 15-35 LPA)

Min Experience: 6 years

Location: India

JobType: full-time

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Account Manager to drive the success of key enterprise client accounts. This role serves as a critical bridge between clients, business development, and technology teams, with ownership of client satisfaction, solution delivery, and revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling. The position offers strong exposure to leadership and growth opportunities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role in new business pitches and take ownership of the successful onboarding of enterprise clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Build and nurture trusted advisory relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts, driving retention, expansion, and long-term value.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs, translating requirements into well-defined Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Collaborate closely with business development, marketing, technology, and finance teams to ensure timely and successful solution delivery aligned with customer objectives.
  • Analyze market and competitive trends using CRM and analytics tools, providing insights to refine account strategies and improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a reputed institution.
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise account management or business development within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow multiple enterprise accounts with a consultative, customer-first approach.
  • Strong experience in system integrations, requirement gathering, SOW preparation, RFI/RFP documentation, and cross-functional project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and deliver formal presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Consultative sales background or prior experience as a Solutions Engineer is a strong advantage.
  • Confident, adaptable professional with strong organizational, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under continual deadline pressure in a fast-moving, agile environment.
