Senior Backend Engineer(Go), Continuous Delivery

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will take ownership of designing, building, and improving scalable backend systems that power continuous deployment workflows. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable solutions while contributing to technical direction and team excellence.

• Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Go, with a focus on distributed systems architecture.


• Own the full lifecycle of complex features, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.


• Contribute to architectural decisions for a new codebase, helping define patterns, standards, and best practices for long-term scalability.


• Build systems involving durable workflow execution, state persistence, reconciliation, and reliable automation at enterprise scale.


• Improve product quality, security, and performance through thoughtful engineering practices and active code reviews.


• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers by sharing technical knowledge, providing guidance, and helping teammates grow their autonomy.


• Collaborate with product managers, UX specialists, and adjacent engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions aligned with customer needs.


• Participate in operational responsibilities, including on-call rotations and troubleshooting production issues.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong backend engineering expertise with experience building reliable distributed systems and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

• Significant professional experience developing backend services in Go and applying Go best practices in production environments.


• Strong understanding of distributed systems, including workflow execution, state management, persistence, and replay mechanisms.


• Experience building or contributing to continuous delivery, deployment automation, release orchestration, or infrastructure platforms.


• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.


• Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment strategies, GitOps practices, and progressive delivery approaches such as blue/green and canary deployments.


• Experience designing event-driven architectures and policy-based governance solutions for enterprise-grade systems.


• Ability to use AI-powered engineering tools as part of daily workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving efficiency.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.


• Experience working in remote-first environments with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and autonomy.


• Self-motivated, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


• Nice to have: experience with AI-integrated product development or Ruby on Rails.
