In September, Journi became the most downloaded photo book app in the world – and we’re just getting started. As we continue scaling internationally, we’re looking for a smart, ambitious, and data-driven Mobile Performance Marketing Specialist to help fuel our next stage of growth.

You’ll play a central role in acquiring high-value users across Meta and Google, working with a healthy monthly budget and full creative support. • Take hands-on ownership of user acquisition across assigned markets and channels (primarily Meta and Google), managing campaigns and optimising for scale, efficiency, and profitable growth in line with the team’s monthly budget targets.

• Manage a monthly performance budget in the 5- to 6-figure range, using your analytical skills to continuously track, measure, and optimise paid ads to hit conversion and ROAS targets.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, product, brand, and CRM teams to help build a cohesive user journey from first click through to purchase.

• Take initiative on related marketing and growth projects that come up as part of life at a scale-up, bringing a proactive and hands-on mindset whilst maintaining a laser focus on the goals for paid ads

• Minimum 3 years experience advertising apps across Meta and Google

• You’ve owned performance budgets of at least €70k+/month and can independently drive profitable growth at scale

• Demonstrable success in growing an app’s user base (even better if it’s in markets like DACH, France, the US, or the UK)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly interpret data and act on campaign insights to achieve performance goals

• Comfortable working with Tableau or other BI tools

• Proven track record of working toward key strategic metrics like CPI or CPP

• Experience working in a start-up / scale-up environment

• You’re drowning in common sense, have the confidence to act on it

• Knowledge of other app advertising channels (ASA, TikTok, Pinterest, Outbrain, and more)

• Demonstrable success increasing conversion rates on Play/App Store pages and custom product pages

• Multiple languages are always useful, especially if you have native-level fluency in English (especially British, American, or Australian tone of voice), German, Italian, or Spanish
