Senior PREEvision Engineer

We are hiring a PREEVision Configuration and Modelling Engineer who can do the Software architecture and communication design in Vector’s PREEVision for multiple vehicle programs. This includes complete software and communication architecture design for the full vehicle, derive the software and communication extracts for whole ECUs including the domain controllers and provide it to the suppliers of individual ECU and to the in-house software development team for the domain controllers. Software extracts include ECU extract for each ECU and Software Component Description for each software feature in the ECU. Communication extracts include dbc, ldf, Network cluster extract and Communication extract of individual ECU.

The Modelling Engineer shall collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including System engineering, Application software development team, BSW configuration team, and product management—to ensure reliable, high-quality delivery. This role requires strong technical leadership, excellent communication, and accountability throughout the design lifecycle.

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or related engineering domain.

·        7+ years of experience in Software and communication design using PREEVision.

·        Strong expertise in CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Vehicle Ethernet protocols.

·        Good knowledge of Vehicle Diagnostics and DoIP.

·        Software architecture design of the vehicle for AUTOSAR/Non-AUTOSAR ECUS’ using Vector PREEVision.

·        Complete communication design of the vehicle for AUTOSAR/Non-AUTOSAR ECUS’ using Vector PREEVision.

·        DoIP and diagnostics design of the vehicle for AUTOSAR/Non-AUTOSAR ECUS’.

·        Network Management design of the vehicle for AUTOSAR/Non-AUTOSAR ECUS’.

·        E2E safety software and communication design for AUTOSAR/Non-AUTOSAR ECUS’

·        Nvm software design for Domain Controller ECUs’.

·        Internal Behaviour, Runnable Entity, Com Specs and data access creation for application software using metrics available in PREEVision and manually.

·        Communication design of different vehicle networks including Vehicle Ethernet, CAN, LIN network protocols.

·        Review and analysis of the design manually and using consistency checks available in PREEVision.

·        Analysis of the exports from PREEVision including ECU extracts, COM extracts, Network extracts, Software Component Description, DBCs’ and LDF.

·        Analysis of the supplier files and find any missing parameters which are required for the software and communication design.
