Job Description - Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 8 years

Location: Remote (India)

JobType: full-time

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to expand our presence across universities and public libraries. The ideal candidate will drive impactful collaborations, foster growth partnerships, and accelerate adoption through innovative engagement strategies in the US and European markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to increase reach and adoption among universities and public libraries.
  • Identify, establish, and manage relationships with academic institutions, consortia, library networks, educational distributors, and other key partners.
  • Design, negotiate, and implement partnership agreements, pilot programs, and collaborative initiatives that expand product exposure and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to execute an effective backlinks strategy aimed at enhancing SEO and geographic visibility.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities, benchmark performance, and refine market positioning in the AI and education sectors.
  • Stay current with SEO, content, and generative AI trends to ensure continuous innovation and strategic alignment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver co-branded campaigns, engagement programs, and onboarding initiatives.
  • Track and evaluate partnership KPIs, optimizing initiatives for maximum reach, engagement, and ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within SaaS, AI, or EdTech industries.
  • Proven success in developing and scaling partnerships with universities, public institutions, or libraries (B2B/B2C).
  • Strong understanding of institutional structures and decision-making processes across the US and Europe.
  • Demonstrated expertise in off-page SEO and backlink acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and comfortable operating independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
