This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Account Manager in India.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will serve as a strategic and trusted advisor for key enterprise accounts, ensuring customer success through proactive technical guidance and program management. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate complex technical projects, and facilitate alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role combines strategic insight with hands-on problem-solving, driving escalation resolution, adoption of best practices, and continuous improvement across customer engagements. You will influence decision-making at all levels, support customer implementations from ideation to post-launch, and help reduce operational and technical risks. Success in this position requires excellent communication, technical acumen, and the ability to balance customer needs with organizational priorities in a dynamic, global environment.
Accountabilities:
- Manage assigned enterprise accounts across APAC and EMEA, ensuring alignment with customer goals and organizational objectives.
- Lead program management activities, tracking product updates, support issues, development tasks, and overall account performance.
- Own escalations for high-profile issues, coordinating fixes, testing, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Shepherd customer implementations through all project phases, from ideation to post-launch support and ongoing optimization.
- Maintain executive presence with customer stakeholders, internal teams, and decision-makers, influencing outcomes and building trust.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication across technical and non-technical teams involved in projects, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as technical support, program/project management, sales engineering, or technical account management.
- Prior experience in the software industry and/or consulting is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing complex customer solutions in production environments and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Technical proficiency with SQL, RESTful services, ETL, MDM solutions, and familiarity with public cloud providers or on-premises software hosting.
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Location Intelligence best practices, and project management methodologies.
- Confident in leading discussions with customers to drive proactive and preventive improvements.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the year.
- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
