Accountabilities:
As a Web Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain a documentation platform ecosystem that supports content creation and review processes. You will work across frontend, backend, integrations, and automation layers while ensuring reliability, scalability, and excellent user experience.
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade web applications used by technical teams on a daily basis.
- Develop and enhance web-based review tools that support document rendering, annotations, workflow management, and system integrations.
- Build and maintain custom conversion tools that transform structured content into web-ready formats.
- Create and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using tools such as Jenkins and related technologies.
- Develop integrations with external platforms and APIs, including workflow automation, authentication, and data synchronization.
- Handle system reliability challenges by implementing effective error handling, monitoring, and graceful failure management.
- Create automated tests to validate integration points and ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with technical writers, engineering teams, and DevOps professionals to deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Maintain runbooks, design notes, and technical documentation to support long-term platform reliability.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced web developer with strong full-stack capabilities, a passion for building scalable applications, and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience building and delivering production web applications, or equivalent senior-level technical impact.
- Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, including authentication, pagination, rate limits, and error handling.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Comfortable working with Git/GitHub, Linux command line, and Docker-based development workflows.
- Strong understanding of automated testing practices and software quality standards.
- Ability to design technical solutions, document decisions, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience collaborating with non-engineering teams and translating user needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with structured content systems, documentation pipelines, or tools such as DITA XML, DITA-OT, Markdown workflows, or static-site generators is a plus.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools, JIRA REST APIs, structured reporting formats, or Jenkins shared libraries is desirable.
