Role Description: As a Web Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in front-end and back-end web development under the guidance of experienced mentors. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of web applications, learning industry best practices and emerging technologies along the way. This internship offers a unique chance to work on real-world projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build a strong foundation for your career in web development.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS A WEB DEVELOPMENT INTERN

• Assist in the development and implementation of front-end interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js
• Collaborate with designers and developers to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and user-friendly web designs
• Support the integration of back-end services and databases using technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB
• Conduct testing and debugging of web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet established standards
• Learn and apply coding best practices, version control, and software development methodologies to maintain code quality and project efficiency
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies, sharing knowledge with the team and contributing ideas for innovation

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum commitment of 3 months full-time internship
• Have a working device(laptop/desktop) with a stable internet connection
• Diploma or Degree or Masters (Pursuing or Graduated) in any field
• Membership of Industry Academia Community (If you are not a member already, please signup at https://industryacademiacommunity.com)
• Strong interest in web development technologies and a desire to learn and grow in the field
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with exposure to modern front-end frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js
• Familiarity with back-end development concepts and technologies, including server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP) and databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pro-active and willingness to learn

Desired Requirements:

• Prior Web Development Internship experience
• Courses/Certifications in Web Development
• Personal Web Development Project experience beyond academics
