Job Description - Reporter

Conduct interviews with individuals, officials, and other relevant persons.

Research and verify facts before preparing news reports.

Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles, reports, and stories.

Cover events, press conferences, meetings, and public activities as assigned.

Coordinate with editors, cameramen, and production teams for news coverage.

Prepare scripts and content for television, digital, print, or social media platforms.

Maintain professional relationships with sources and contacts for regular updates.

Ensure all reporting follows company policies, journalistic ethics, and legal guidelines.

Provide live reporting and on-ground updates whenever required.

Monitor current affairs, trends, and breaking news regularly.

Submit reports, photographs, videos, and other required materials within deadlines.

Assist in fact-checking and content verification processes.

Travel to different locations for news coverage and field reporting.

Coordinate with the editorial team for story planning and content development.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and sources when necessary.

Handle social media updates and audience engagement related to news coverage.

Perform any other reporting and media-related duties assigned by management.
