We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Hostel Warden to oversee the daily operations and welfare of students residing in our hostel facility located in Savalagi, Bagalkot, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, disciplined, and supportive living environment that promotes student well-being, academic success, and personal growth. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage hostel activities, ensure compliance with institutional policies, and serve as a point of contact for students, parents, and staff. The Hostel Warden will contribute significantly to fostering a positive and inclusive residential community.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day management of the hostel, including student check-ins, attendance, and room assignments.

Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and security protocols within the hostel premises.

Act as a primary point of contact for students, parents, and faculty regarding hostel-related concerns.

Monitor student behavior and intervene promptly to address disciplinary issues or personal challenges.

Coordinate with maintenance and support staff for timely resolution of facility issues.

Organize and supervise hostel events, activities, and orientation programs.

Maintain accurate records of student information, attendance, and incident reports.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within an educational or residential setting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and staff.

Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with student welfare practices and basic knowledge of institutional rules and regulations.

Proficient in basic computer applications for record-keeping and reporting.

Willingness to live on-site or maintain a flexible schedule to support student needs.
