Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and tech -savvy Computer Teacher to teach students from Grades 1 to 5 following the Cambridge curriculum. The candidate should have a strong understanding of basic computer concepts, digital literacy, and age -appropriate teaching methodologies to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons in line with the Cambridge curriculum.
  
• Teach basic computer skills, including operating systems, MS Office tools, and internet usage.
  
• Introduce students to fundamental concepts like coding (basic), digital safety, and computer applications.
  
• Design interactive lessons using multimedia tools, games, and practical activities.
  
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and digital learning materials.
  
• Conduct assessments, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
  
• Encourage creativity through projects and hands -on computer activities.
  
• Ensure proper use and care of computer lab equipment.
  
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive, tech -friendly classroom environment.
  
• Communicate student progress with parents and participate in school meetings and academic planning.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Education (BCA / B.Sc. IT / B.Ed preferred).
  
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in primary grades (preferably Cambridge curriculum).
  
• Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and digital tools.
  
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the Cambridge ICT/Computing curriculum.
  
• Basic knowledge of coding platforms (Scratch, Blockly, etc.).
  
• Creative and interactive teaching approach.
  
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
  
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching effectively.
  

Location Preference:

Candidates residing near Vidyaranyapura, North Bengaluru will be preferred.
