Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying, researching, and sourcing non-core/non-stock items requested by the Lawson and Kent Sales Teams.

Handling a wide range of industrial MRO supplies, including chemicals, fasteners (screws, nuts, bolts), safety gear, tools, mechanical and hydraulic products.

Supporting customers across fleet, construction, and manufacturing segments.

Providing procurement-related support activities, including coordination with third-party suppliers for pricing, availability, lead times, and order fulfillment.

Preparing accurate quotations, calculating commissions, and ensuring profitable margins.

Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Ensuring timely responses, strong customer service, and adherence to ISO guidelines to support overall operational efficiency.

Skill & Knowledge Requirements:

Working knowledge of SAP.

Strong SCM and procurement domain knowledge, preferably in industrial, mechanical, or MRO product categories.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
