In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth secondary research across multiple industries, markets, and companies while ensuring CRM systems are enriched with reliable, up-to-date data. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to support prospecting, account planning, and relationship management initiatives.
You will leverage premium research platforms such as Capital IQ, Factiva, Refinitiv Eikon, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to gather company, financial, industry, and executive-level insights. Additionally, you will manage CRM platforms including Salesforce and InterAction, ensuring data integrity, proper segmentation, and accurate reporting. This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent data management skills, and the ability to convert research outputs into business-ready intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive secondary research using trusted databases and public sources to support business development and strategic initiatives
Gather and analyze company profiles, financial data, industry trends, competitor insights, and executive information
Use platforms such as Capital IQ, Factiva, Refinitiv Eikon, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to extract relevant market intelligence
Maintain, enrich, and validate CRM data within Salesforce and InterAction to ensure high data accuracy and usability
Perform CRM data cleansing, deduplication, segmentation, and ongoing quality checks
Support account planning and lead generation by identifying potential opportunities and key stakeholders
Develop research briefs, company snapshots, and customized reports for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align research outputs with business priorities
Track and manage large datasets while ensuring compliance with internal data governance standards
Generate dashboards and analytical summaries to support decision-making and pipeline activities
Monitor data trends and proactively flag gaps, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement
Adhere strictly to defined SLAs, timelines, and quality benchmarks for research deliverables
Continuously update research methodologies and stay informed about new tools, databases, and best practices
What Makes You a Great Fit
Minimum 1 year of experience in research analytics, secondary research, or CRM analysis
Strong hands-on experience with research platforms such as Capital IQ, Factiva, Refinitiv Eikon, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Working knowledge of CRM systems including Salesforce and InterAction
Solid understanding of CRM data structures, contact hierarchy, and account relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data accurately
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Curious mindset with a strong interest in markets, industries, and business intelligence
