• Synthesis and purification of complex antibody drug conjugate (ADC) molecules

• Synthesis of different type of linkers - using natural and un-natural amino acids, PEGs

• Synthesis of high potent drug molecules – payloads

• Purification of complex and large molecules by flash column and HPLC

• Handling various type chemistry with different payloads

• Interpretation and characterization of higher molecular weight compounds

Synthesis of high potent drug molecules – payloads

Purification of complex and large molecules by flash column and HPLC

Handling various type chemistry with different payloads

Interpretation and characterization of higher molecular weight compounds

Synthesis R&D:

• Responsible to perform routine organic synthesis. (mg to gram scale) & work independently under the guidance of the leader.

• Independently support the scientific team with instrumentation and equipment operation and maintenance.

• Able to understand & interpret various instruments like NMR, Mass, HPLC.

• Instrument purification like Combiflash, big columns, column packing. Deciding the mobile phase for purification.

• Independently handling all types of glassware assembly arrangement, reaction reagent charging, maintaining temperature, nitrogen, etc.

• Should be able to understand the written instruction from the scientist including patents and reprints where procedure highlighted by scientists.

• To train and support the team members.

• Meticulous Documentation & proper data management.

• To maintain the record book of the work done like purification or reaction.

Responsible to perform routine organic synthesis. (mg to gram scale) & work independently under the guidance of the leader.

Peptide R&D:

• Able to perform synthesis using solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis techniques with automated peptide synthesizers like Syro, Liberty CEM, etc

• Provide support in developing state-of-the-art peptide synthesis methods and equipment to drive peptide generation

• Responsible for synthesizing target peptides, performing purification and characterization, and conducting laboratory experiments

• Capable of performing medium- to large-scale synthesis (1 g to 10 g, 100 g, and 1 kg final product) with minimal or no supervision

• Responsible for characterizing and identifying compounds using modern analytical methods, including but not limited to HPLC, LCMS, and MS

• Maintain instruments such as rotary evaporators, MPLC, pH meters, lyophilizers, peptide synthesizers, centrifuges, etc., while ensuring compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) and regulatory guidelines

• Troubleshoot both practical and theoretical synthetic issues at an advanced level

• Conduct literature searches and collect MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)

• Accountable for accurate documentation of experimental procedures and maintaining necessary databases

• Maintain important documents like patents, literature, and analytical reports

• Ensure individual productivity, including the number of reactions, purifications, and shipments
