Job Purpose

The position is for Researcher Level N who has good understanding of texture, color sand & its applications. While the position will be reporting to R&T, the candidate will be placed at JK Paints, Bangalore. Checks including RM/ FG, process checks, quality audit of manufacturing plants for textures. The position will require travel to all vendors across India. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting checks at manufacturing locations and maintaining records of the same. The position will be responsible for independent communication with supply chain, marketing and manufacturing location (OPCs across India) and sharing manufacturer Test certificate MTC (wherever applicable) and on time dispatch. The position requires to coordinate with supply chain on day-to-day basis for RM testing, stock and update TF on any quality or technical issues etc.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Testing of RM and FG as per protocol at the vendor’s end and OPC’s end


2. Ensuring on time dispatch of FG along with MTC


3. Troubleshooting in case of manufacturing/ processing issues impacting quality


4. Maintenance and replenishment of Master samples for RM (Project specific and MTS shades) & Panels


5. Ensuring adherence of the Panel preparation schedule at the OPC


6. Conducting quality audit at OPC/vendor and publish report


7. Independent co-ordination with SC/ Mktg/ Sales & TF
