Reservoir Engineer

The Reservoir Engineer will be closely involved in classical Reservoir engineering, PVT and SCAL data analysis \u0026 validation, dynamic simulation, EOR studies, Field development planning and other subsurface activities related to Reservoir engineering domain. In daily work of the Reservoir engineer, he/she will be interacting with the client representatives, Manager, Service Delivery team leads, RE team leader in aligning the definition and prioritization of the requirements. He/she will also be working with the other domain PTEs to define the customer problem, define the solution, explain the uniqueness of the solution. Extensive experience in reservoir simulation is must for the described position.\n\n * Location of assignment:- Navi Mumbai, INDIA\n\n\n\nExperience required: \n\u2022 Experience in Exploration, appraisal \u0026 (or) Development fields as Reservoir Engineer. \n\u2022 A demonstrable ability in planning, organizing and execution of studies/projects is required. \n\u2022 Perform classical reservoir engineering studies. \n\u2022 Experience with PVT and fluid modelling, SCAL data interpretation. \n\u2022 Experience with Well Test design, interpretation, and analysis- Pressure \u0026 Rate transient analysis. \n\u2022 Using advanced numerical simulation techniques/ dynamic modelling methods to forecast oil and gas production. \n\u2022 Collaborating with other technical professionals (geophysicists, geologists and petrophysicists) in devising economically viable development plan. \n\u2022 Optimizing recovery plans, including new well locations or projects involving enhanced recovery methods. \n\u2022 Developing and executing data-gathering plans and using the results to develop projects to increase recovery efficiency. \n\u2022 Manages the sub-surface uncertainty through the anticipation of alternatives, quantifying exposure and maximizing reward. \n\u2022 Consult with relevant subject matter experts as required to optimize the technical design. \n\u2022 Experience in providing technical support throughout the service delivery process. \n\u2022 Experience in Petrel-RE, Eclipse/ IX is must\n\nCareer progression: \n\u2022 As per SLB standard career progression process Behavior: \n\u2022 Customer focused; communicates effectively with stakeholders; promotes good client relations on a social and professional level. \n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills; able to confidently facilitate meetings. \n\u2022 Able to work under pressure. \n\u2022 Practices effective listening techniques. \n\u2022 Strong drive to seek alignment. \n\u2022 Leads by example and acts professionally at all times.\n\nQualification: Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering \nExperience: 8-12 years of relevant experience \n
