Job Description - Resident Medical Officer

Job Title:Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Branch Name: Brain and Spine Medcity

Qualification: MBBS

Experience : 1-2 Years

Location: Kanhirode, Kannur

Employment Type: Full time

Department:Neuro rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities

Provide round-the-clock medical coverage and patient care within the hospital/unit.

Monitor patients’ conditions, conduct daily rounds, and document progress in medical records.

Respond promptly to medical emergencies, code situations, and critical care needs.

Assist consultants and specialists in diagnosis, treatment procedures, and minor interventions.

Prescribe medications and order investigations as per institutional protocols and consultant guidance.

Ensure accurate documentation of case notes, treatments, and discharge summaries.

Coordinate with nursing staff, paramedics, and administrative teams for effective patient care.

Communicate regularly with patients and their families regarding treatment updates and care plans.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.

Participate in audits, case discussions, and continuous medical education programs as required.
