Resilience Testing Engineer - Director- Risk & Resiliency Management

Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team as a Resilience Testing Engineer, in Firm Resilience to in Core Platform Services to help drive program automation and strategy.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.

This is Director position that Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents. What you’ll do in the role:

• At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Good understanding and experience of software application development concepts and Unix/Linux/Windows.
• Good understanding of the concepts behind structured and non-structured databases.
• Exposure to Disaster Recovery, Cyber and Network security concepts.- Knowledge of SQL and data query concepts.
• Knowledge of software programming and/or scripting using Python, Java Excellent project planning and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for developing new and creative solutions to complex problems.
• Good understanding of technology resilience testing concepts.
• Good Understanding of the Agile / DevOps model.
• Exposure to business intelligence tools like Power BI, QlikView

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Exposure or interest in on demand service (SAAS, IAAS, PASS) and/or Cloud technologies.
• Exposure to Mainframe.
• Exposure to financial industry and trade flow.
• Exposure to business application resilience concepts.
