Retail Design and Documentation Architect

Looking for an
experienced Retail Design & Documentation Architect to
support the management, documentation and maintenance of asset
information for retail stores. The candidate will be responsible
for maintaining accurate asset records, updating AutoCAD
drawings and layouts, coordinating asset information with
design, facilities and project teams and ensuring that asset
data is complete, accurate and up to date.

The ideal candidate
should have strong AutoCAD skills, excellent communication and
coordination abilities, good attention to detail and an
understanding of retail store layouts, equipment, fixtures, MEP
services and facility assets.

 
Key Roles and
Responsibilities:

• Maintain and
  update retail store asset registers and databases.
  
• Review and update
  AutoCAD floor plans, layouts, equipment drawings and asset
  locations.
  
• Identify and document
  HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire & life-safety,
  refrigeration, retail fixture, furniture,
  
• IT/low-voltage and
  other store assets.
  
• Ensure asset
  information is correctly linked to location, drawing, asset
  ID, manufacturer, model, serial number, installation
  date, warranty and maintenance information.
  
• Review drawings and
  site information to identify discrepancies between existing
  conditions and documented information.
  
• Coordinate with
  design, construction, facilities, maintenance and client teams
  to collect and validate asset information.
  
• Update drawings based
  on site surveys, markups, redlines and as-built
  information.
  
• Maintain revision
  control and ensure the latest drawings and asset information
  are available.
  
• Prepare asset
  schedules, equipment lists, reports and supporting
  documentation.
  
• Perform quality
  checks on asset data and drawings to ensure accuracy and
  completeness.
  
• Support digital asset
  records / BIM or facility-management databases where
  applicable.
  
• Communicate with
  internal and external stakeholders to resolve asset-related
  queries.
  
• Track missing or
  incomplete asset information and follow up with relevant
  teams.
  
• Maintain standardized
  naming conventions, asset classifications and documentation
  procedures.
  
• Support multiple
  retail stores/projects simultaneously while meeting
  deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications and
Experience Required:

• Diploma /
  Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering,
  Construction, Facilities Management or a related
  field.
  
• 2–5 years of relevant
  experience in asset management, CAD documentation, retail
  design, facilities management or a similar environment.
  
• Excellent working
  knowledge of AutoCAD.
  
• Ability to read and
  understand architectural, MEP and retail store
  drawings.
  
• Strong understanding
  of floor plans, layouts, elevations, sections and equipment
  drawings.
  
• Excellent verbal and
  written communication skills.
  
• Strong coordination
  skills and ability to communicate with multiple
  stakeholders.
  
• Excellent attention
  to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in
  drawings/data.
  
• Good working
  knowledge of MS Excel for asset schedules and data
  management.
  
• Ability to work
  independently and manage multiple projects/stores.
  
  

Compensation:

The selected candidate
