Learn more about our benefits. \n\nAs an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Experience in the simulation, design of RF and microwave circuits and subsystems.\n * Experience in operating RF / MV and electronics test and measuring equipment\n * Experience with tools such as ADS and HFSS.\n * Experience with measurement of RF and microwave circuits using VNAs .\n * Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding complex electrical issues for specific projects\n * Implement concepts for wide range of complex product issues and solutions\n * Generate product specifications with limited to no supervision\n * Specify and/or perform engineering analysis of complex scope\n * Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports\n\n\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in High power RF domain and broadens capabilities\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work\n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members\n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents \n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\nTime Type:\n\nFull time\n\nEmployee Type:\n\nAssignee / Regular\n\nTravel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\nRelocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
