Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our SUPPORT SERVICES-Risk Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk analysis and a passion for driving strategic initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our risk management processes.

As a Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across various business lines. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing our overall risk framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential risks across business units.

Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Analyze and interpret complex data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and align risk management strategies.

Implement risk mitigation plans and monitor their effectiveness.

Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.

Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.

Support the development and enhancement of risk models and frameworks.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.

Provide risk analysis support for new business initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in risk analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Proficiency in risk analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis and modeling.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking sector.

Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk identification.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
