Summary of the Role

As an RMS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and customizing Oracle Retail applications. This techno-functional role requires strong solution architecture expertise, hands-on customization skills, and deep experience across Oracle RMS, ReSA, RPM, and related modules. You will support global digital transformation initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing retail systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle Retail solutions, specifically Oracle RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB, and RSE services.
• Lead and contribute to solution architecture and technical design discussions.
• Customize Oracle Retail applications to enhance business functionality and user experience.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues in high-performing transaction environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Contribute to cloud integration efforts with platforms like AWS, Oracle Cloud, and Azure.
• Work independently and take ownership of project deliverables with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle Retail application development, implementation, and customization (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB, RSE services).
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Solution Design.
• Proven track record in Oracle Retail customization and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Experience in high-volume, high-transaction systems.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, be self-driven, and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sectors.
• Exposure to emerging technologies in retail and cloud-native development.
• Experience with AWS, Oracle Cloud, or Microsoft Azure platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

• CTC: Up to ₹35–36 LPA including 10% variable component.
• Shift timing: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (hybrid and flexible).
