This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and enhance advanced SAP solutions using S/4 HANA, BRF+, and modern integration technologies. You will contribute to building efficient enterprise applications that support critical business processes and digital transformation initiatives. The position combines strong ABAP development expertise with experience in business rules, APIs, and SAP architecture. You will work closely with functional consultants and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Accountabilities:
The S/4 HANA & BRF+ Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP solutions while ensuring high-quality delivery, technical excellence, and alignment with business requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective SAP technical solutions.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Business Rule Framework (BRF+) solutions.
- Developing applications and programs within the S/4 HANA environment using ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), CDS views, and AMDP.
- Designing and developing OData services, RESTful APIs, and integration solutions using CDS, AMDP, and RFC technologies.
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs using object-oriented programming principles.
- Working with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and supporting SAP Fiori application development.
- Developing and enhancing BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, and other SAP integration components.
- Applying knowledge of SAP logistics modules to support business processes and technical implementations.
- Creating technical designs, defining test scenarios, performing unit testing, and documenting results.
- Providing technical support and guidance to functional consultants.
- Following defined development processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Supporting Agile and DevOps ways of working within SAP development environments.
- Mentoring junior team members and ensuring development standards, testing practices, and quality expectations are maintained.
- Estimating development efforts and contributing to project planning and delivery activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP developer with strong expertise in S/4 HANA development, BRF+, and enterprise integration solutions. Required qualifications and skills include:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Rule Framework (BRF+) development.
- Proven experience in S/4 HANA development using CDS views and AMDP.
- Advanced ABAP development skills, particularly in integration scenarios.
- Strong experience with OData services, RESTful APIs, and SAP integration technologies.
- Good knowledge of RFCs and SAP Fiori applications.
- Strong understanding of ABAP Objects (ABAP OO) development principles.
- Experience working with SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
- Knowledge of SAP logistics modules and related business processes.
- Experience developing and enhancing BAPIs, BADIs, and RFC-based solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP development tools such as Eclipse and Solution Manager.
- Understanding of ITIL-based processes and Agile/DevOps delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and promote quality development practices.
