Job Description - Saffronart - Editorial Assistant

Festivals from India is hiring on behalf of our client, Saffronart. They are looking for a bright, self -motivated, and detail -oriented Editorial Assistant with 2–3 years of professional writing experience. This role supports the editorial team across a range of writing, research, and administrative functions, contributing to both day -to -day operations and key projects. The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of English, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. A background in art is highly desirable. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Please note:

The vetting process for this role comprises 2 -3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.
Festivals From India is hiring for this role on behalf of Saffronart.
This is an on -site, full -time position based in Mumbai.
Salary band for this role is available upon request.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Creative Writing.
2–3 years of professional writing experience.
Excellent written and spoken English, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Prior experience in a content, editorial, or journalistic role.
Ability to write clearly and concisely while adhering to the organisation’s style, tone, and
voice.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work independently once assigned a project.
Background in or working knowledge of Indian art preferred.
Basic understanding of SEO is an advantage.
