Job Description - Saffronart - Editorial Manager

Festivals From India is hiring for their client Saffronart. They are looking for a sharp, detail -oriented Editorial Manager to execute written content across their auctions, exhibitions, digital platforms, and media communications. The ideal candidate is a strong editor and writer with a genuine interest in art, design, and culture, particularly within the Indian context.

Please note:

The vetting process for this role comprises 2 -3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.
Festivals From India is hiring for this role on behalf of Saffronart.
This is an on -site, full -time position based in Mumbai.
Salary band for this role is available upon request.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Creative Writing, Art History, or a related field.
Excellent command of written English, with strong editing and proofreading skills.
Prior experience of 4 – 6 years in an editorial, content, or journalistic role.
Ability to write clearly and concisely while maintaining brand voice and editorial standards.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Background in or knowledge of Indian art preferred.
Basic understanding of SEO is an advantage
