We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales and Design Consultant with 4–10 years of experience in interior design and client-facing sales. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy blending creativity with business acumen to deliver exceptional design solutions while driving revenue growth. You will work closely with homeowners, architects, builders, and commercial clients to understand their design requirements, recommend suitable products and solutions, and ensure an outstanding customer experience from consultation through project completion.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of interior design principles, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to translate client ideas into practical, aesthetically appealing spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet prospective and existing clients to understand their design preferences, project scope, budget, and timelines.
• Create customized interior design concepts and product recommendations based on customer needs and industry trends.
• Prepare presentations, mood boards, layouts, and design proposals that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Drive the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and consultations to proposal submission, negotiations, and successful deal closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, channel partners, and end customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients about features, materials, finishes, and design possibilities.
• Coordinate with design, operations, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining profitability.
• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, furniture, lighting, space planning, and market developments.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and project documentation accurately.
• Resolve customer concerns proactively and deliver exceptional post-sales support to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
• 4–10 years of experience in interior design consultation, retail design sales, modular interiors, furniture, home décor, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
• Strong portfolio showcasing completed residential or commercial interior projects is preferred.

Must-Have Skills

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar design software.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness with an eye for design trends and customer preferences.
