Sales Development manager

We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Sales Development Manager to lead and manage a sales development or inside sales team focused on B2B outbound sales. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SDR, B2B Inside Sales, Business Development, or Outbound Sales, along with proven expertise in team leadership, prospecting, lead generation, coaching, and achieving sales targets. Experience working with US-based prospects and teams, particularly in US Healthcare, Healthcare IT, SaaS, IT Services, or B2B sales, will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Sales Development / Inside Sales team to achieve business and sales targets
  
  


• Drive outbound prospecting and lead-generation activities
  
  


• Develop and implement effective sales development strategies and processes
  
  


• Monitor team performance against sales targets and key performance metrics
  
  


• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to improve sales performance
  
  


• Manage prospecting activities and ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified leads
  
  


• Work closely with sales and business development teams to support pipeline growth
  
  


• Track and analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and other key metrics
  
  


• Prepare regular sales reports and provide performance insights to management
  
  


• Manage CRM and sales engagement platforms to maintain accurate sales data
  
  


• Communicate effectively with US-based prospects, clients, and internal teams
  
  


• Identify opportunities to improve outbound sales processes and team productivity
  
  


• Ensure team members maintain high levels of accountability and target achievement
  
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in SDR, B2B Inside Sales, Business Development, or Outbound Sales
  
  


• 2+ years of experience managing or leading a Sales Development / Inside Sales team
  
  


• Experience in US Healthcare Sales, Healthcare IT, SaaS, IT Services, or B2B Sales is preferred
  
  


• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding team sales targets
  
  


• Strong understanding of outbound prospecting and lead-generation processes
  
  


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  


• Strong coaching, mentoring, and people-management skills
  
  


• Hands-on experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms
  
  


• Strong analytical, reporting, and performance-management skills
  
  


• Ability to work effectively with US-based prospects and teams
  
  


• Highly target-oriented, proactive, and accountable
