Job Description - Sales Development Representative - SDR

Job Title: Sales Development Representative
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 1–3 years
Qualification: Bachelor's degree preferred
Work Schedule: 5 -day work week

We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative for our rapidly growing fintech company specializing in modern expense management solutions.As the Sales Development Representative, your responsibilities would be:

  • To identify and engage potential customers through structured outbound calls, emails, social outreach, and market research.
  • To evaluate prospect fit based on business needs, budget, and buying intent, ensuring only high -quality opportunities are passed to the sales team.
  • To maintain a healthy pipeline through disciplined outreach, consistent follow -ups, and meticulous activity tracking within the CRM.
  • To conduct impactful introductory calls that clearly position our fintech and expense management solutions against customer challenges.
  • To schedule product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a seamless handoff with comprehensive account context.
  • To collaborate closely with Marketing to optimize inbound lead conversion and share continuous feedback on lead quality.


Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, Inside Sales, or lead -generation role (Fintech, SaaS, or tech -driven business context preferred).
  • Proven track record in proactive prospecting, cold outreach, and generating qualified B2B opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales development workflows and CRM systems.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to drive high -volume outbound outreach with consistent discipline and resilience.
  • Comfortable engaging and speaking with mid -to -senior decision -makers across finance, operations, and leadership teams.
