Job Title: Sales Director – New Business & Strategic Accounts (India)

Location: Bangalore, India
Experience: 12+ years
Employment Type: Full -time


Role Overview

We are seeking a results -driven Sales Director to lead new business acquisition and new logo growth for our India business, with a strong focus on Global Capability Centers (GCC), IT Staffing, MSP, and IT Services & Consulting. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building pipeline, winning strategic accounts, and expanding our footprint with enterprise and mid -market clients.


Key Responsibilities

New Business & New Logo Acquisition

  • Own and drive end -to -end sales for new logo acquisition across GCC, Staffing, MSP, and IT Services & Consulting offerings.

  • Develop and execute a go -to -market strategy for India -focused and global clients with delivery in India.

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned to annual and multi -year revenue targets.

  • Identify, pursue, and close large, complex enterprise deals.

GCC & Strategic Sales

  • Lead sales initiatives for setting up and scaling Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India.

  • Work closely with delivery, HR, and leadership teams to position build -operate -transfer (BOT) and long -term GCC models.

  • Engage CXOs, HR leaders, procurement heads, and technology leaders to drive decision -making.

Staffing & MSP Sales

  • Drive IT staffing and contingent workforce solutions, including MSP/RPO -led engagements.

  • Sell value -based staffing solutions with strong focus on compliance, cost optimization, and scalability.

  • Build relationships with procurement and vendor management organizations (VMO).

IT Services & Consulting Sales

  • Sell IT services and consulting offerings including application development, cloud, data, digital, and managed services.

  • Work with pre -sales and solution teams to craft winning proposals and RFP/RFQ responses.

  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract closures.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Mentor and lead a high -performing sales and account management team.

  • Collaborate with marketing, delivery, finance, and HR to ensure seamless deal execution.

  • Track KPIs, sales forecasts, and revenue metrics; provide regular updates to leadership.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in B2B sales with a strong focus on new business / hunting roles.

  • Proven track record of winning new logos in:

    • Global Capability Centers (GCC)

    • IT Staffing & Contingent Workforce

    • MSP / RPO engagements

    • IT Services & Consulting

  • Strong experience selling to India -based enterprises, MNCs, and global clients.

  • Demonstrated success in closing large, multi -million -dollar deals.

  • Strong network with CXOs, CHROs, CIOs, procurement, and VMO leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred).

  • Experience working with India -based IT services or staffing firms.

  • Strong understanding of Indian talent market and delivery models.

  • Exposure to global markets (US, Europe, APAC) is a plus.
