Job Description - Sales Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sales Engineer to join our team. The role involves managing sales and pre -sales activities, providing technical solutions to customers, and driving business growth through consultative selling of construction and building material solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying market opportunities, providing technical support, and ensuring successful adoption of products among contractors, consultants, fabricators, and other industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Provide technical advice and product solutions based on customer requirements and project needs.
  • Support pre -sales activities including product presentations, technical discussions, site visits, and solution recommendations.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product awareness and market share.
  • Manage assigned territory and achieve sales targets through proactive project tracking and customer engagement.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, customer training, and technical support activities.
  • Identify customer challenges and provide safe, practical, and cost -effective solutions.
  • Maintain strong market knowledge by tracking industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer experience and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and sales updates as required by management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in sales, technical sales, construction, or building materials industry.
  • Experience in direct sales to contractors, precast/prestress customers, fabricators, consultants, or project stakeholders will be preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of construction products, accessories, and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and provide consultative solutions.
  • Self -motivated, target -oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and reporting/documentation.
  • Experience working in a multinational or structured work environment will be an advantage.
