Job Description - Sales Engineer, Enterprise Sales




As the Senior Sales Engineer for Enterprise Sales, your focus is on developing business in target accounts. You'll identify end users and decision makers, build relationships with new customers, and collaborate on effective proposals. Your role includes pricing solutions, handling objections, and employing diverse negotiation styles. Conducting business meetings with prospective clients, you'll promote our products and services, predict and address client objectives, and provide reliable after-sales support. Building long-term relationships with customers, both new and existing, is a critical aspect of ensuring the seamless integration of our solutions into their infrastructure.



Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):



  1. Identify potential customers, build relationships, and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.

  2. Transacting Industrial Automation Solutions' Hardware and Software Products along with Services within the assigned Geographic Territory

  3. Conduct solution demonstrations and proofs-of-concept to showcase LogicLadder's capabilities.

  4. Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute sales strategies that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.

  5. Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotations based on customer requirements and budget constraints. Present proposals to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.

  6. Travel to customer sites, conferences and other engagements as required to present product solutions.


Requirements



  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or physics is typically required

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience in the sustainability, energy, or technology sectors.

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background,

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Thorough understanding of LogicLadder's products and services, as well as the broader sustainability software landscape.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the capability to communicate concisely and effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management.

  • Ability to understand client needs, map LogicLadder's solutions to those needs, and position the value proposition effectively.

  • Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.

  • Understanding of CRM systems like Salesforce and sales processes like SPIN selling.

  • The ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.

  • A high level of literacy in IT personal productivity systems, such as email and electronic diaries.

  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a self-motivated approach to achieving sales targets.

  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities for informed decision-making.

  • Flexibility to adjust strategies based on evolving market conditions and customer feedback.

  • Familiarity with relevant sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

  • Understanding of the B2B industry or market segment of product-based companies.

  • Proficient in creating and delivering compelling presentations to engage and persuade potential clients.

  • Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse skills for successful client engagement.
