Job Description - Sales Engineer - West

/Primary Responsibilities/g

Primarily responsible for Packaging Machine sales generation, working for principals. Customer Target base will be specifically catering to FMCG, F&B, Beverage Pharma companies. Based in Mumbai/HYD region.

Identifies current and future customer service requirements by travelling year-round and establishing personal contact with potential and actual customers and other people in a position to understand service requirements. Provides product knowledge, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers, planning and weekly sales call reporting.

Determines improvements by analyzing offers of equipment, supplies, in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.

Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.

Submits orders to product manager, by clearing all technical and commercial points.

Needs to take care of all documentation and approvals post order.

Prepares sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge through self-training; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

Contributes to sales effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Works on requirement generation for Packaging team as well.

Can have market intelligence and market information on a regular basis.

Should be able to work on CRM and handle salesforce, prior experience of salesforce is a must.
