Sales Engineer/Sr. Sales Engineer - North

Your role

We are looking for young, dynamic, self-driven, result oriented, Challenging Sales personality who will travel extensively in Gurgaon and around, to generate sustainable business for Desoutter Industrial Tools  

This position will report to Regional Sales Manager- West

• Extensive coverage of territory, identify business prospects, convert leads into opportunities, identify stakeholders, build constructive tension and drive customer towards decision making process


• Understand pain areas of customer and propose Desoutter value proposition demonstrating ROI to customer


• Retain existing customers, identify new customers, new markets, new segments and new applications


• Take complete ownership of the sales business process O to C (order to cash)


• Work closely with the Channel Partners (distributors) as an extended arm for Win-Win-Win situation for all the 3 stake holders (Customer, Desoutter and the Channel partner to drive growth


• Conduct Right Way Audit, product demonstrations, technical seminars, Technology Days, helping customer to enhance their knowledge and position Desoutter as a business partner


• Take lead for the new product introduction and upscaling of solutions helping customer to achieve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) 


• Understand the sales plan of Desoutter India and implement actions within the allocated geographic territory to achieve business targets


• Prioritise timely collection / receivables and keep overdue under control


• Be aware of competition and expand market reach for Desoutter


• Timely sales reporting


• Support Regional Sales Manager to build a high performance team

To succeed, you will need

Experience:

2 to 6 years of experience in selling Industrial assembly and Industry 4.0 Software solutions

Knowledge and educational requirement

• Engineering degree with additional management qualification in Sales & Marketing is preferred


• Sound knowledge of cloud-based sales software tool (Cloud for Customer/Salesforce)
