Job Description - Sales Executive

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 600000 (ie INR 4-6 LPA)

Min Experience: 1 years

Location: Pune

JobType: full-time

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive with proven experience in solar sales to drive new business, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our solar solutions portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of solar products, the renewable energy market, and the ability to deliver consultative sales solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate leads for solar products, including residential, commercial, and industrial solar solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their energy requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance on solar energy solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management team.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and government policies related to solar energy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, and technical departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide after-sales support and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of proven experience in solar sales or renewable energy sales.
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy products, photovoltaic systems, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solar solutions.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
