Job Description - Sales Executive

Summary:

The Retail Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and market penetration of fresh milk and very short shelf -life dairy products. This position focuses on expanding retail coverage, ensuring consistent product availability, and building strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders. By maintaining high standards of freshness, visibility, and timely delivery—particularly during early morning hours—the role ensures optimal market performance and customer satisfaction. Success in this position directly contributes to achieving sales targets, minimizing product expiry, and strengthening brand presence across target outlets.

Responsibilities:

Expand and manage the retail network to ensure optimal placement of fresh milk and short shelf -life dairy products.
Achieve daily sales targets and continuously improve market coverage and penetration.
Ensure timely delivery and product availability at retail outlets during early morning hours.
Monitor stock rotation, product freshness, and implement measures to reduce returns and expiry.
Build and maintain strong, long -term relationships with retailers, agents, dairy parlors, HHPs, and distributors.
Identify new market opportunities and track competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Ensure consistent brand visibility and proper product presentation at all retail touchpoints.
Submit accurate and timely daily sales reports and market insights.
Consistently meet established sales targets and performance KPIs.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience in FMCG or dairy sales, with a focus on fresh milk and short shelf -life products.
Demonstrated success in retail expansion and field sales execution.
Willingness and ability to work early morning shifts to support delivery and stocking schedules.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
In -depth knowledge of the local market landscape and existing distributor network.

Nice to Have:

3–5 years of experience in the dairy industry.
Hands -on experience managing short shelf -life dairy products.
Valid two -wheeler driving license and access to a two -wheeler.
Proficiency in using smartphone apps for sales reporting and field tracking.
