Sales Executive / Business Development Executive

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client position of Sales Executive / Business Development Executive across multiple locations in Tamil Nadu.

Our client is seeking motivated sales professionals with 2–4 years of experience in technology sales or the education industry, preferably with exposure to school sales.

The ideal candidate should be capable of visiting schools, engaging with principals, management teams and decision-makers, presenting solutions, generating business opportunities and achieving sales targets.

Candidates with established school networks and a strong understanding of institutional sales will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify prospective schools and educational institutions within the assigned territory.
   

2. Visit schools and establish professional relationships with principals, administrators and management teams.
   

3. Present and pitch technology or education-related solutions to prospective clients.
   

4. Generate leads through field visits, referrals, networking and direct prospecting.
   

5. Conduct product presentations, follow-ups and commercial negotiations.
   

6. Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through conversion and client onboarding.
   

7. Maintain accurate records of school visits, leads, opportunities and sales performance.
   

8. Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets while expanding territorial market coverage.
   

Required Skills

Preferred Skills

• Existing relationships with school principals, administrators or school management.
  

• Experience with CRM software and structured lead tracking.
  

• Knowledge of the Tamil Nadu education market and institutional purchasing processes.
